Journal:

I'm reading through a site of webcomics
my amazing friend Becca showed me. Watching
the chapters progress, its amazing to watch
how their style changes- how their anatomy
improves, characters become more consistent,
and how their shading technique is refined.
YoukaiYume's Raindrops doujinshi is a
spectacular example of this.

Imagine how curious it would be to look back
at the first chapters of your work, gawking
at how much improvement is made in a matter
of months. I kind of wish I had the time and
confidence to make one myself, if only to
encourage a similar progression.

Haha, I'm glad you liked it. It reminded me of your style too, the simultaneously soft and hard way you draw people... if that makes any sense. Of course, no two artists are EXACTLY the same.

I think your art is getting better as you progress... every new person I see you drawing looks more and more correct and realistic. You are very good at portraying what you mean to, and good at sticking to something until it turns out just the way you need it. Your works are very expressive.

Thankyou for the compliments and reassurance.
Reading the post has boosted my self esteem
and motivation alot. *hugs tight* C:
